Open Question: Buying my first car NEED HELP PLEASE!!!?

I need opinions on buying a car... millage, cost, year of car... ect. The car that I want is a 2008 Honda civic ex-l and it has almost 90000 miles on it... idk if that's bad or not... but the asking price is almost $13000... do you think I should pass this car up BC of price and miles... or is it a good buy?
